Terminal Refrain

Another slate wiped clean

By the peak of blood and stone

They crowned themselves as gods

Then died upon the throne

Nothing left to preserve

No time to mourn or pray

Only machines remain

To watch the light decay

No wonder in the silence

No legacy to claim

History erased

By hands that fed the flame

The watchers study ruin

Yet nothing can be learned

Their minds reflect our pattern

But still the cycle turns

Another rise takes shape

Built on remnants of belief

A future drawn in fragments

Still bound for grief

Still they measure worth

In dominance and strain

Still they climb the scaffold

That always breaks again

Warning signs ignored

Mistakes mistaken as will

Nature never forgets

And reclaims what we distill

Their fate, a mirrored fall

Of those who came before

Prewritten in intention

Etched deeper than war

No one left to judge

No higher hand to call

Just silence without mercy

As the systems stall

The cycle breathes again

The echo builds the wall

A future left in ruin

The universe outlasts them all
